Story
Drs. Antee and Tanner (formerly Daniel and Megan) first met while attending dental school in New Orleans and began dating in 2013. They married in 2016 and now share a beautiful life with their two wonderful children, Brooklyn and Beckett. Their family also includes Tucker, a charming hypoallergenic maltipoo who often makes appearances at the office as our unofficial therapy dog, and Spot, a beloved rescue dog.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tanner enjoys unwinding with jigsaw puzzles, has recently embraced the fun of mahjong, and cherishes quality time with her family. Dr. Antee, while still mastering golf, is passionate about grilling, reading, and savoring coffee and bourbon with friends and loved ones.

Dr. Daniel Antee

Dr. Antee is a proud native of Bossier City, LA, and his journey in dentistry began with a BS in Biology from Centenary College of Louisiana, where he graduated Cum Laude. He earned his doctorate from LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans in 2014, and after four years of practice in Mandeville, he brought his expertise to Lufkin at the Dental Center of Lufkin.

Passionate about helping patients achieve their dental goals—whether it’s maintaining a healthy smile or creating a completely new one—Dr. Antee is excited to share the latest advances in dental care. From digital scans that eliminate the need for traditional impressions to advanced 3D X-ray systems that make tooth restoration more precise than ever, he is dedicated to offering a modern, comfortable, and effective dental experience.
Dr. Megan Tanner

Dr. Tanner was born in Greenville, TX, and spent her teenage years in South Louisiana, where she developed a love for community and connection. She earned her degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Business from LSU before pursuing her passion for dentistry at LSU School of Dentistry in New Orleans, graduating in 2015. After several years of practice in South Louisiana, she and her husband, Dr. Antee, made Lufkin their home, becoming the proud owners of the Dental Center of Lufkin.

Dr. Tanner believes that every smile tells a story, and she is passionate about helping patients feel confident and comfortable in their care. She has completed advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, implant placement, and Invisalign, ensuring she can offer the best treatment options for her patients. But more than anything, she loves getting to know the people she serves, creating a welcoming and reassuring experience for every visit.

She and Dr. Antee met in dental school and have been partners in both life and dentistry ever since. They married in 2016 and now share two wonderful children, Brooklyn and Beckett, along with their two sweet pups, Tucker and Spot. Outside the office, Dr. Tanner loves jigsaw puzzles, mahjong, and spending time with her family—especially cheering on the LSU Tigers!

They are proud graduates of the prestigious Kois Continuum in Seattle, WA, an intensive program involving hundreds of hours of training and multiple trips to Seattle under the guidance of Dr. John Kois. Their passion for full-mouth treatment and comprehensive dental care is evident in every aspect of their work.

Additionally, both doctors have enhanced their skills through hands-on training at the Alabama Implant Educators Institute, where they gained in-depth experience in implant placement.
As certified Invisalign providers, they have successfully completed hundreds of cases, transforming smiles with precision and care.
