Amanda Haney
I grew up in Austin, Texas and after high school I moved to College Station, Tx where I received my Associate of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Blinn College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Community Health from Texas A&M University- WHOOP! I have now been practicing for 5 years as a Dental Hygienist and love working with all of my patients! College Station is a place I hold dear to my heart, but I recently relocated to Lufkin where my husband works, and we just tied the knot in May! I am so excited to now call Lufkin my home because it is great place full of friendly people!
Our team has welcomed me with open arms to the office and I have enjoyed my time here getting to know everyone and meeting patients. Outside of work, I enjoy being with my husband, family and friends, reading, and traveling. We have two corgis, Hondo and Louis who keep us very busy as well!
Renae Yeary
I am truly blessed to have been a member of The Dental Center of Lufkin team for 30 plus years. I grew up in Hemphill, Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin and Lamar University to acquire an associate degree in Applied Science to become a Dental Hygienist. During my 40 years as a Hygienist I have been a member of ADHA and many of our local Dental study groups. The constants in my life are faith, family, friends, animals, and a love for smiles! It is my goal to provide the best of care for our entire dental practice with the latest knowledge and technology available while extending a warmth that only comes from compassionate care. We look forward to creating many awesome smiles for many years to come!
My husband Clint and I have been married 39 years. We have the pleasure of being parents to Casey and husband Chris and Cane and wife Katie and our wonderful grandchildren, Kenna and Brooks. In my free time, I love being with my family usually outdoors at the beach or mountains. My family also enjoys hunting and rodeoing!
Jennifer Mullins
I started working at the Dental Center of Lufkin 17 years ago after I graduated from Tyler Jr. College with an associate’s degree in applied sciences. One of the things that I love about my job is helping patients to understand their dental needs, and helping to create relationships so that they have a pleasant experience in our office. When not in the office, you will find me with my husband, Joey and daughter, Atlanta. I have a passion for serving others in our community with my Jeep club and church.

Sara Williams
I grew up in a little town called Onalaska and spent part of my childhood in Colorado as well. I moved to Lufkin 3 years ago. I love my job as a dental assistant, but I love the amazing people that I work with the most. Our office feels just like family and it is great to be able to come to a work environment that makes you feel that comfortable.
Dentistry makes me happy because I love seeing my patients’ faces when we can help and address their problems. I want them to always feel like they are in the right hands with our office. I hope that all my patients can achieve the smile that they deserve. I want to stay in the dental field long term and would like to eventually pursue a career as a dental hygienist. I currently live in Pollok with my husband, Dustin and our daughter, Rylee.
Payton Hamilton
I was born in Livingston, TX and grew up not far from there in small town Groveton. My husband Clint and I were blessed with a beautiful baby boy in 2018! We now live in Douglass, TX where we raise our son Hoyt, 2 dogs and roughly 280,000 chickens!In January 2019, I decided I was ready to go back to work after spending 6 years in a hair salon and 1 year at home with my little man, I wanted a job that I could love just as much as doing hair but also something that would allow me to be home more with my son! Dentistry has been an interest of mine for many years, so I enrolled at Nacogdoches Dental Assistant school and joined the team at The Dental Center of Lufkin in July of 2019!
In my time away from the office I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family! My passion is talking… Just kidding. But not really! My passion has always been helping others and that is one of the many reasons I love being a dental assistant. I enjoy being there to help calm a patient’s anxiety whether they need a hand to squeeze or a second opinion on that front tooth shade, I love being in the middle of it all! The smiles on our patient’s faces is what I’d say drives us all at The Dental Center of Lufkin!
Rubi Salinas
I grew up in Houston, Tx where I spent most of my childhood. My family moved to Lufkin, Tx about 14 years ago my parents fell in love with this great town and knew it would be a great place to raise their four kids. I graduated from LHS in 2012 and shortly after decided to become a Dental Assistant. I have always been interested in dentistry. I love knowing how everything works and it takes to create a perfect smile. Helping patients feel comfortable and improving their self-confidence is a bonus! Nothing is more fulfilling than to know you have given someone a confident smile. I love working with the team at Dental Center of Lufkin because all of them feel the same way!
When I am not with my patients, I spend most of my time with my 6-year-old son Aaron Layne, we enjoy playing at the park and learning about dinosaurs. My main hobby is baking and cooking. Just because I work on teeth doesn’t mean I cannot have a sweet tooth!
